History of Duke of World

The Duke of World Pageant is one of the most watched and interesting pageants for the male models, designers, products and service providers.  At the same time, Face of World Nigeria and Miss Ebony World Nigeria started in 2006. There also was an idea for a competition for men, Mister Ebony World and Emperor of Africa, to give equal opportunities to both sexes.

In the past years, there was still the inequality between men and women. Women entered contests and paraded on catwalks, not men. The conception then was that the men who parade in contests were body builders or male models, not ordinary men with intelligence and good physique. Duke of world Nigeria had potential doctors, lawyers, computer engineers and other professional people entering for the contest. The sexes were now considered in most countries as being equal and so it was what made the face of world organization (the organizers and producers of Duke of World), decide to accede to the call by men for equal opportunity by calling out for the first ever Duke of World contest. Due to the success of Mister Ebony World Nigeria, Duke of World Nigeria was given a trial and it was an instant success, attracting just the right young men. Now, it has given birth to Duke of World international contest.
