The Society for Child Education Foundation (SCEF) is the charity organization formed by Headline Group that creates an office/pet project for all the winners of the organization’s pageants which they would run, assisted by their runner-ups. SCEF is set to cater for the less privileged children in the educational aspect. The pageant winners are to solicit for the rights of the disadvantaged and abused children, embark on scholarship programs for them and raise fund to help support the Motherless Babies homes. This foundation is created to give children back their future, education for less privileged children all over the world. The Duke of World and Face of World winners will automatically become the project director and world coordinator for SCEF (the NGO attached to the contest, tagged “Beauty for a mission”), while the Duke of Nigeria and Face of World Nigeria will run the NGO at the national level. So, from their office, they will work to educate a lot of children and offer a lot of scholarship opportunities and funding to children and invest more on education, research, care and human development. They are going to raise fund, organize seminars, lectures, fashion fares, awards, concerts and many other events to education a child. Therefore, 2009 event is themed “Catwalk to educate a child”. THIS WILL ALSO PROMOTE CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING AND HUMANITARIAN CAUSE. |
